Accepting Differences

In any relationship there will be times
when you do not agree with your partner.

The question is: how well
do you handle your disagreements?

Is there room in your relationship
for both of you to have differing opinions,
as well as interests and activities that you don’t share?

A relationship that requires total agreement and sharing,
is an unrealistic one.

That is far too much to expect
from any relationship.

RELEASE FROM PRISON OF CO-DEPENDENCY

Release from Prison of Co-dependency

If you are getting three hot meals
and a bed to sleep in,
you don’t want to talk about freedom.

It doesn’t matter that someone else plans your day:
tells you when to eat, when to exercise
and when to go to sleep.
It doesn’t matter that the door to your room
is locked every night.

The idea of living without these amenities
is frightening to you.
You don’t know how you would survive
outside your cell.

But consider this:
one day the guard is going to come
and unlock the door
and tell you it’s time to leave.

And you will have to leave,
whether you want to or not.

Under these circumstances,
there is only one question you must ask
and it’s not “what time is breakfast served?”
It is “Are you ready for that day
and, if not, why not?”

TRUST

Trust

When you know that your life is okay, 

no matter how ragged and unfinished it seems,
there is room for movement.

A shift can happen. A door can open.

The most important door is the one to your heart.

If it is open, then the whole universe
abides in you.
If it is closed, then you stand alone
against the world.

TAKE SLIM RATHER THAN NONE

Do what you need to do, so that you can do what you want to do. Success and convenience do not go together. You have what it takes to be successful, so you have to step up your game and make room for it. Pray. 

Do whatever it takes to drag yourself in the direction of your dream. Your chance of winning may be slim to none ~ TAKE SLIM!! You may be knocked down, but not knocked out. Come up swinging - with everything in you. Life is on your side. You have GREATNESS within you!
