When you are attached to what you have,
how can you bring in anything new in?
To bring in something new, fresh, unpredictable,
you must surrender something old, stale, habitual.
If you want the creative to manifest,
you must surrender all that is not creative.
Then in the space made by that surrender,
creativity rushes in.
If the cup is full of old, cold tea,
you cannot pour new, hot tea into it.
First you have to empty the cup.
Then you can fill it up.
