DEMONS RISING UP

Demons Rising Up

Living with another person
often pushes your deepest buttons
and sets off unexpected explosions.

Your fears simply cannot stay hidden.

It isn't always pleasant business.
If you expect it to be pleasant all of the time
then you will be sadly disappointed.

Every relationship moves from romance to realism,
to the depths of despair.

Couples fall from grace just as individuals do.

Couples who face their demons
and walk through their fears
win a decisive battle against their own ignorance.

They integrate the shadow,
transcend the limits they have placed on love.
and learn how to love without conditions.

WHEN FIGHTING STOPS

When Fighting Stops

Progress happens when fighting stops. Accept this moment, these conditions, the people around you, and move forward.

Change is essential, unavoidable, and positive change is the result of a positive perspective. Rather than fighting against what is, work to transform it into something more beneficial for everyone.

Life is not perfect, and will never be. Yet within the imperfection is great beauty, much power, value and fulfillment.

You won’t find a perfect solution to every problem, yet you can successfully address each problem. Get good things done not by striving to make everything perfect, but by working around the imperfections.

Enjoy the moment without trying to force the joy. Let it be what it is, and feel the immense power of not having to fight it.

It is by gracefully joining in life’s flow that you can offer your own positive influence. Practice acceptance, and point all your power in a good and useful direction.

INSPIRATION BEYOND THE MOMENT

Inspiration Beyond The Moment

At times your environment may not be conducive to getting good, creative work done. That’s too bad, yet it doesn’t have to stop you.

As difficult and uninspiring as the situation may be, you can rise above it. After all, if work was only done in perfect conditions, no work would ever get done.

Look beyond the moment that is. Focus on the way things can be, on the good you can do.

When you’re in a supportive environment, make the most of it. When you’re not, choose to forge ahead anyway.

You have great things to do. Don’t let a few inconveniences, distractions or thoughtless people stop you.

Draw inspiration from the world around you when you can. And remember you can always find inspiration beyond the moment when you must.
