DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT

Drop it like it's hot...all the doubt, worry, frustration, stress and anxiety that has been robbing you of your health or causing you to lose sleep at night. Decide to live your life looking forward...not backwards. Examine yourself and be brutally honest with you. If you have habits, behaviors, or choices that are taking you down the wrong path, or that don't represent the GREATNESS that is within you...face the truth.

Make the hard decision to release these from your life. Don't allow these choices or habits to rob you of your greatest life or dictate your future. Take back your power, deepen your resolve to win, and intensify the pursuit of what you want. Practice calming your mind, going within, and finding a place of peace within yourself. The mark of GREATNESS is upon you. Live from this place...because this is the truth of who you really are.

SMALL MOMENTS

Small Moments

Small moments are the building blocks of great achievements. Steadily, diligently, one moment at a time, is how new value comes to life.

Anyone can stay positive, focused, effective for one small moment. Great things happen when you string such moments together.

Today is filled with an abundance of moments. Within those moments, if you choose, you can make real, solid progress.

For a moment, let go of worry, anxiety, fear, anger, resentment and frustration. Fill that moment with action that makes a positive difference.

When that productive, satisfying moment is over, you can choose to do it again. You can create positive moments for as long as it takes to get the results you seek.
Enjoy living at your highest level of effectiveness for just this moment. Then keep it going, and amazing things begin to appear on your horizon.

IN CHARGE

In Charge

Your situation will never make you happy unless you choose to be happy. All the money in the world cannot change the way you feel until you change the way you feel.

No, your feelings do not alter the circumstances. Yet they radically change what you do with the circumstances.

If you feel optimistic, you will see the opportunities and seize them. If you feel despair, you will find plenty of reasons to confirm your feelings.

So which will it be? How will you choose to see the world, your life, your situation today?

For every person, crafting a life of quality and fulfillment is difficult work. Your attitude determines whether that work results in reward or punishment.

You’re in charge of the one factor that decides how to handle all the other factors. Choose the most beneficial outcome by choosing the most positive perspective.

TO CHOOSE OR NOT TO CHOOSE

To Choose or Not to Choose

You can't force yourself to choose before you are ready.
If you do, you will probably have regrets.

Be patient with yourself and learn to accept
all of the voices within your psyche.

You don't have to act on any of these voices.
Just listen to them and see what they need to say to you.

Accept your ambivalence and it will move when it is ready.
Guidance and direction will come when it's time.

STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE

Stop trying to change the people you love and change yourself! Stop trying to change people who take your money but will not take your advice. You will only drain your own mental, spiritual, emotional and financial reserves. The truth is...people change when they are sick and tired of being sick and tired or hit rock bottom.

If you are dealing with addiction or irresponsible behavior from grown adults ~ protect your wallet and your mind. It does not mean you do not love them. Your attempts to help may only delay what is inevitable. Allow them to take the journey they have chosen for themselves. Choose to let go of the guilt and be at peace. You may require counseling or emotional support to stop being an enabler. If necessary, give yourself some distance so that you can stop being used or manipulated because they know that you care and you love them. You have the right to enjoy a guilt-free, happy and productive life. Commit yourself to changing the only person you really can - YOU!! You have GREATNESS within you!!

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

The Road to Nowhere

There is a road going by,
but you don’t know where it is going.
You don’t know whether to go right or left,
or whether to stay where you are.

You don’t know.

Sooner or later, out of boredom no doubt,
you will make a choice.

You will go right or left.
And you will get excited thinking
that you have made the right decision
until you come to difficult terrain,
and then you will be convinced
that you went the wrong way.

This will happen whether you go right or left.
It makes no difference.

On the Road to Nowhere,
it does not matter which way you go,
because the road is circular
and eventually returns to the same place.

On the Road to Nowhere, the question is not
“where are you going?”
because you aren’t going anywhere in particular.

The question is “how are you going?.
Are you enjoying the journey?”
Are you going happily or sadly?
Are you going blessing or cursing
the people you pass along the way?

On the Road to Nowhere
the destination is not so important.
The only thing that is important
is your state of consciousness.

A POSITIVE PLACE

A Positive Place

Where is there a positive place? Anywhere you want to make it.

In a dark tunnel, on a sunny beach, in a large group or alone, you can be in a positive place. Whether there is confusion or clarity, drama or stillness, you can be in a positive place.

No matter what has happened, or failed to happen, you can make it a positive place. Whether you’re comfortable or not, surrounded by challenge, or immersed in beauty, you can be in a positive place.

What makes any place a positive place is the way you choose to see it. External circumstances matter, but they do not have to determine your perspective.

A positive place is a powerful place. Because you’re more aware of, and more inspired to act on, the best possibilities.

So wherever you are, whatever is going on, give yourself a decided advantage. Put yourself in a positive place.

FORGIVE YOURSELF AND MOVE ON

Forgive yourself and move on. Release the need to rehash, review or relive what you could have, should have or would have done. Instead, be aware of what you learned about yourself.

Look at what the situation showed you that you were unwilling to see. Forgive yourself...despite your choices, actions or inaction and in spite of your lack of knowledge or misplaced trust. There may be consequences and responsibilities that you must face.

Avoidance and denial are poor substitutes for decisive action. Stop swinging at yourself with a super-sized bat. Put it down, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and know this..you will learn to trust yourself again, despite what you may be feeling now. Be gentle on yourself. Choose to be stronger, wiser, more courageous, determined, and committed to living in the present and building a brighter future for yourself. Remember, you have something special. You have GREATNESS within you!!

CUT THE NONSENSE

Cut The Nonsense

Refuse to accept any more nonsense from yourself. Refuse to settle for the same old excuses, draining thought patterns, destructive habits.

You deserve more. You deserve a life filled with the best you have to give it.

You don’t have to take any more abuse from your own thoughts and actions. You wouldn’t take it from anyone else, so you certainly don’t need to allow it from yourself.

Decide right now to feel empowered because you are empowered. Grab the control you’ve always had access to, and use it in crafting a life of excellence.

The difficult truth is you can do a whole lot more good in this life than you’ve ever done. Get yourself on the side of that truth, as inconvenient and uncomfortable as it may be.

Let your love overpower your fear. Cut the nonsense, and endure whatever is necessary to live the greatness you know you have.

POSITIVE AND REALISTIC

Positive and Realistic

Being positive about your prospects will improve your prospects. You’ll be more energetic, more persistent, more effective.

A positive perspective might be justified, or it might not be. In either case, it’s the best choice.

Being positive does not mean you must deny that negative factors exist. Rather, it means you commit yourself to successfully working through those negative influences.

You’ll encounter plenty of challenges pushing back against your efforts. Don’t let your own outlook be one of those challenges.

Though negativity might be the most obvious reaction, it is not in your best interest. You can always choose to be both positive and realistic.

Give yourself the advantage of a positive perspective. No matter how difficult the situation, being positive will put you in the best position to deal with it.

DO NOT SETTLE FOR A PLACE AT THE BACK OF THE LINE

Do not settle!! It is not in your spirit. Do not settle for living someone else's life, or for believing that you should just survive. What you do to live and what you do to survive are two different things! Choose to live..really live. Playing small is not who you are!

You are called to live a GREATER life!! Do not settle for a place at the back of the line. You are more than able. You are a conqueror. You can come through this and have your dream. You have COMEBACK power!! Because...you have something special. You have GREATNESS within you!

GET THE WORK DONE

Get The Work Done

Every effort you make, makes the goal feel more achievable. Celebrate each small victory by immediately going to work on the next one.

Every step you take creates more motivation to take the next step. If you don’t feel motivated to work, the very best thing you can do is get to work.

You are in control of what you do from moment to moment. Choose over and over again to exercise that control wisely.

Benefit your life by putting effective effort into it. Expand the richness of your whole world by giving your time, your thought, your focus, your action to make a difference.

Feel your feelings, enjoy them, learn from them, but don’t let them imprison you in complacency. Whether you feel like it or not, it’s in your best interest to make the effort.

Decide not to let the distractions, setbacks or excuses stop you. Get going, get the work done, and discover again how great it feels.

BEWARE OF THE DANGER BUT RECOGNIZE THE OPPORTUNITY

John F. Kennedy

“The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger--but recognize the opportunity.”

John F. Kennedy

THE NEXT STEP IS STILL OUR CHOICE

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Obligations and Responsibilities

The obligation to do something is not the problem. The problem is your anxiety about it.

The responsibility you have is not the problem. The problem is your resentment of it.

Instead of trying to avoid obligations and responsibilities, focus on their benefits. They burden you only to the degree you see them as burdens.

Following through on your obligations will earn you respect. Upholding your responsibilities will give you influence with others.

Every person has a desire to matter, to make a difference. Obligations and responsibilities enable you to make a difference in a meaningful, positive way.

Choose to stop fighting, stop worrying, stop complaining about obligations and responsibilities. Embrace the great richness they can bring.

THE POWER TO CHOOSE WHO YOU ARE

In every moment of life, you have the power to choose who you are and who you are becoming. This happens primarily in small ways...the conversations you hold; the way you honor your commitments; the practice of telling the truth, and being present with yourself; and the mindfulness and caring that you bring into your daily actions and activities. It is not too late to choose to become the person you always wanted to look up to and admire.

Look at the people who are in your life. Do they cause you to examine yourself, your life, and your vision for yourself? Are you being stretched to go beyond what is safe, familiar, and comfortable...and do something BOLD with your life? Or are they pulling you back to the self that you left a long time ago? You build a GREAT life by the choices you make and the chances you are willing to take! Commit to the GREATNESS within you!

WHEN THE TRUTH HURTS

When The Truth Hurts

When the truth hurts, that’s when you better pay attention. In each painful truth is opportunity for new strength.

Those who agree when they know you are wrong are doing you no favor. Listen instead to those who care enough to tell the truth even when you don’t want to hear it.

If you run from the truth it will soon overwhelm you. If you fight against the truth, you will lose.

Choose instead to face the truth. Learn from it, do what you must to align yourself with it, and grow stronger.

When it hurts to hear the truth, be thankful. Because you’ve been given the opportunity to avoid much more pain later on.

Get yourself on the side of truth, whatever it may be. The more the truth hurts, the more it can help you.
